Privacy Notice

1. Who We Are

MinRisk is a merchant risk intelligence platform operated by PIAPEX (Kadir Kuğu), a sole proprietorship registered in Türkiye. This privacy notice applies to the public website at minrisk.co. The MinRisk platform itself (used by financial institution customers under contract) is governed by separate data processing agreements.

2. What We Collect

2.1 Demo Request Form

When you submit the form on the Request a Demo page, we collect the information you provide: first name, last name, business email, company or institution, role or title, area of interest, and any message you choose to share. Submission is processed through Formspree (our form service provider) and delivered to our team via email.

2.2 Anonymous Traffic Analytics

We use Umami (cloud.umami.is) to count page views and understand which content is useful. This service does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not collect personal data. It records aggregate metrics such as page paths, referrer domain, and approximate country.

2.3 Anonymous Behavioural Insights

We use Microsoft Clarity to record anonymous session interactions (mouse movement, scrolling, click patterns, heatmaps) so we can improve usability. Form input fields and any text on the page are masked by default, meaning Clarity cannot capture what you type. IP addresses are anonymised. Clarity does not link sessions to identifiable individuals.

2.4 Search Console

We verify ownership of minrisk.co with Google Search Console. This tool reports aggregate search query data (keywords, impressions, clicks) shown by Google's index — it does not collect data from visitors directly.

3. How We Use It

We use the demo request data only to respond to your enquiry, schedule a demonstration, and follow up on the conversation. We use the analytics and behavioural data only to maintain and improve the website. We do not sell, rent, or share information with third parties for advertising.

4. Cookies

This website does not set tracking cookies. The analytics tools we use (Umami, Microsoft Clarity in cookieless mode) operate without cookies that identify you. Browsers may still store a small amount of local data for technical reasons.

5. Third-Party Processors

We rely on the following service providers, each bound by their own terms:

• Formspree, Inc. — demo request form delivery (United States; standard contractual clauses apply for transfers).
• Umami Software, Inc. — privacy-first traffic analytics (cookieless, EU/US edge).
• Microsoft Corporation — Clarity behavioural analytics (Azure infrastructure).
• Google LLC — Search Console for SEO performance reporting.
• Netlify, Inc. — static site hosting.

6. Your Rights

Under Türkiye's KVKK (Law No. 6698) and the EU GDPR (where applicable), you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you;
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
• Request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention requirements;
• Object to or restrict processing;
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
• Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.

7. Data Retention

Demo request submissions are retained for as long as the conversation remains active and for a reasonable follow-up period thereafter, typically up to 24 months. Anonymous analytics data is retained according to each provider's policy (Umami: typically 12 months of aggregate data on the free tier; Microsoft Clarity: typically 13 months for session recordings).

8. Changes to This Notice

We may update this notice as the website or our service providers change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Significant changes will be highlighted on the home page.
